Here’s Eliza’s acoustic version of The Weeknd “The Morning”. As you expect in Doolittle’s fashion to do a stripped version of “The Morning” in bed with some friends. Pretty simple, not great audio but pretty cute, like Doolittle.

“Cake” is the first song I’ve heard of from Keepaway. I’m not sure what to make of it, the sounds that fill this track have every type of genre sprinkled throughout. It’s has been compared to a less complicated Animal Collective mixed with the afro-pop sensibility of Vampire Weekend glued together with the quirky dynamics of Das Racist. Yes this seems all over the place but is somehow kept together by Keepaway, Black Flute drops January 10th.

Miike Snow – “Paddling Out”

Paddling Out – Miike Snow
I haven’t been so excited for a new album from an artist for a while now. Miike Snow got me hooked, it’s only normal that any audiophile would be overthrown with happiness and anxiety to hear more. “Paddlling Out” is what I expected from Miike Snow, picking up right where he left off. I can’t wait to hear more. “Devil Inside” and now this, sounds like he’s on track for another hugely successful album.

Marguerito – “Questions Answer Themselves”

Question Answer Themselves – Marguerito
Don’t let the picture of Marguerito throw you off. This is one hip group. His first introduction was surprising one. “Questions Answer Themselves” has an amazing melody. His voice yet awkward fits perfectly with the song. The beat and production are off because it’s a demo but there’s something so catchy to this song. You’ll just have to see for yourself. You know this could be a hit if some love was sprinkled on it. Marguerito’s demo tape 10 Stone Cold Gems From The Man In Beige is available for free now.

A lot of artist that have been hibernating are making 2012 the year of the come back. MNDR’s Amanda Warner has got a way to make electro-pop music sound underground. Her latest “#1 In Heaven” a catchy pop-danceable tune just got the visual treatment, pretty basic vintage 80′s feel to it.

Breton – “Ordnance Survey” + EP Stream

Ordnance Survey – Breton
I’ve been recently introduced to Breton through their indie video making skills. When I heard they were turning their attention to music I was excited to hear their new EP titled Blanket Rule. It’s everything I expected from them, a whole lot of variety. Lot’s of top notch production making every song a winner. “Ordnance Survey” will start you off right with some freaking hand clapping and some funky organ sounds but you’ve got to hear Breton’s “Blanket Rule EP”

M.I.A.’s new video for “Bad Girls” has to be the hottest video of 2012 yet. Featuring her Moroccan crew doing wild wild car-tilting stunts. M.I.A resurgence in 2012 is looking to be an international winner.

Here some new Madonna and my prediction for Super Bowl XLVI 2012. Madonna, M.I.A and Nicki Minaj perform “Give Me All Your Luvin” at halftime show . I’ll give a 7 point spread. It’s interesting to see M.I.A and Nicki Minaj powerful personalities clash with Madonna. Who took the spotlight?

Here’s the new single from Dantigold called “Disparate Youth”, it’s bee a while since we’ve heard from Santigold. She hitting the scene with the exact same sound her last album had, which makes me happy. Why change the formula when you’ve got right. The visuals are not quite a video more like an animated picture, at least we got something.

Gorillaz, Andre 3000 & James Murphy – “Do Ya Thing”

Do Ya Thing – Gorillaz, Andre 3000 & James Murphy
OOOO yeah! When I heard of this collab I almost fropped a load in my pants. I knew this was going to be a beast. We have 3 huge artist, with 3 significantly different sounds coming together. Gorillaz, James Murphy and Andre 3000 make this a undeniably great and original song. What really gets me going is Andre 3000 verse he comes in when the vibe is peaking and his flow is ridiculous. The song starts of with a very typical Gorillaz vibe, then James comes in with a chorus and then come the 3 stacks next level raps.

Converse was the mastermind behind getting this legends together. The series is called “3 artist. One song”
