Here’s a perfect Halloween thriller. Kid Cudi, Cage and Shia Lebouf get together to create this documentary of two serial killers video taping their killing spree. I’m really starting to question Shia Lebouf’s mental state. This is the second weird and strange video he’s directed, the first which was the horrifying and traumatizing was Marilyn Manson’s “Born Villain” video. Now we have “Maniac”, very strange indeed. Marvin & Chardonnay – Big Sean (Dj Mo Beatz remix)
Dj Mo Beatz took this song to the next level. I wasn’t that hyped when I heard Big Sean’s new album Finally Famous. “Marvin & Chardonnay” was the stand out track. It was a real smooth R&B track. Mo Beatz took this song to a new level and tweaked the production to perfection. I mush rather this remix.

Finally Originals is a remix album of Big Sean Finally Famous. This album has crazy production credits like Dj Ac Slater, Xaphoon Jones, and Drumma Boy. Everyone took a turns flipping the tracks into more upbeat electro beats. Very well done.

I featured this Beyonce track a few months back and now we have the visuals. Difference is Andre 3000 was on it now J. Cole is. I wonder why.

Damn! Another Beyonce video. She pumping as many videos out as she can in the last month. I guess she wants everyone to remember as such without her little pregnancy showing. Either way, this video is dope. I love everything about it. The lighting, killer wardrobe, make-up and editing. It’s all on point. I think this trailer party out did Logic’s Gumby rally. En Vogue trailer trash. That’s Where’s it at. Where ever there’s a Trailer Park there’s Theophilus London????

All I Do – Logic
White boys know how to party. Logic shows his environment. Gumby show’s he know how to ride. Yeah this video is all over the place. There’s one concept that underlies the whole thing – it’s Logic knows how to party. Gansta is a hard word to associate to a white dude. But ” All I Do” summons the chill gansta beat and keeps it real. No doubt logic knows how to party and he likes to prove it ie: “All I Do” video. Anyways enjoy lifes short. In the meantime you can grab yourself a copy of his first mix tape, Young Sinatra, it’s already out.

Bang Bang – Phlo Finister
Mobb Deep and Nancy Sinatra go together like up and down. Ying and Yang. I’m always compelled to turn the volume up when I hear a Mobb Deep track, especially Shook Ones. The Mobbs music resonates through me like no other music. So hearing straight out of LA Phlo Finister’s mashup I was predisposition to like it. It’s M-O-B-B. Super plus bonus is the fact that my second favorite song “Bang Bang” from Nancy Sinatra desperate lyrics are perfectly matched with the Shook beat. The lyrics are original but Phlo is singing the vocals herself. Hearing either one of those songs moves my soul. Phlo Finister took “Shook Ones” murda rap and blended it like mash potatoes with Nancy’s beautiful heartfelt and sad lyrics. This is sure to be on repeat. I love it!

DJ 21Lazy has put together a very nice mash-up with B.I.G. I’m very sensitive to posting remixes as they seem to be so many bad ones. But like any game with numbers there’s odds. So there’s bound to be some good songs out there. Here’s proof. Skizzy Mars and Xaphoon Jones on this fresh reggae sounding remix.

WISHIN – Rittz
Rittz is known for his dark lyrics. Instead of talking about the stupid norm ie:cars and ladies. He’s on a real dark self-connected point of view Nonetheless it makes for some realistic music and interesting videos. The Georgia native rapper recently dropped his popular “White Jesus” track and is now back with something that hits just as hard. This new track “Wishin” is what Rittz calls a “representation of his hopes and wishes”. Now, after watching this video, this is for sure. Rittz is a dark artist that doesn’t cut corners or filter his lyrical approach. He tries reaching and making his wishes yours. He wants everyone to relate because we all have these types of dark moments where we wish we could have made different choices in life. Either way, Rittx produced a winner taking The XX beat and by dropping some verses on it. A+ for that.

Life of Kings
When I heard all the Phonte snipets and saw the press I was pumped for his new album. So I figured the good news has spread about Phonte’s new album Charity Starts at Home. 9th Wonder produced and worked on several of the tracks so I thought the album would be dope. It had features like Elzhi and Big K.R.I.T. yet even those special features on the album didn’t really deliver on the expectations I had for it, I guess. I covered “The Good Fight” a while back and thought that this was the bar at which we could expect. I’m sad to say that there are only about 3 decent tracks. “Life of Kings” is the other decent one.
