Born Villain – Marilyn Manson
Marilyn Manson went big time on this one. When I say big, i really mean big on shock value. After watching it on youtube I knew it was going to be taken down because of the graphic images and plot. This music video surprised my in every creepy way possible.

Otherside – Macklemore & Ryan Lewis Ft. Fences
Who said rap can’t be deep and real. Here’s perfect proof how well indie and hip-hop fit together like a glove. This song depicts some pretty realistic views. It’s a breath of fresh air in Hollywood. All the addicts and drama in Hollywood should take example.

No Hands – Yelawolf
So Yelawolf has been on my radar for a while now. His white trash rapper style has always intrigued me. This is his second single off his first major label release which is blatantly obvious in this bigger budget music video whom Ubisoft teamed up on. This video has some catchy eye sequences that all are produced by the game developer. The imagery and track go very well to into Yelawolf’s theme.

Tiger Dreams – Karin Park
Wow this is some weird stuff. First of all I was so confused when I saw Sinead O’Connor in this video. And to make matters worst I was even more confused when she started singing because she sounds like Björk. I’d never heard of Karin Park before this track, though according to the PR that came with this release she was a pop star in her native Sweden as far back as 2004.

Don’t Fall For That – OnCue
Spanking new strack from Cuey -OnCue. This latest song was previewed on his Facebook page. “Don’t Fall For That” is a track from his Can’t Wait “campaign”.

Savage Night at the Opera – Destroyer
So yeah, I’m slightly behind on this puppy. Apparently formed in 1995, Daniel Bejar has produced many albums, EPs and even cassettes but just recently got another kick start from a commercial campaign. I guess I was too busy in ’95 listening to some of the greatest such as Smashin Pumpkins, Pearl Jam, and others.

Swim Good – Frank Ocean
Sold me with the samurai sword and some sweet visuals of the Pacific Coast. Throw in a pimped out Lincold Town Car and you have a hit. This is Frank Ocean’s second video directed by Nabil Elderkin. Nabil is getting some good spotlight time and has been doing all sorts of features for the best talent in the music industry – Kanye West, etc.

Everyday Struggle – The Notorious B.I.G (Frogs in Socks BiG Bootleg)
I’m very wary of Biggie remixes. They have to be A1 quality and clean tracks which don’t take away from the highness of hip-hop yet to the opposite and offer a composite foundation to build on. Frogs in Socks BiG Bootleg remix threw me like a boomerang. I started listening and liked the hype beat only to be disappointed by the RPM chosen for the beat. Then as Biggie worked his magic and turned his quick flow into sickness a smile drew across my face and have since being listening to this piece for awhile. I would say RIP but BIG never lays down. A legend always lives on threw his medium.

The Good Fight – Phonte
Here’s some classic hip-hop. This stuff hits a big home run for me. The sampling is a miravulous motown beat – it’s hot fire and Phonte AND 9th Wonder. This is what makes me proud to love hip-hop, good ol sweet motown swag. Hard lyrics that are deep, this is the realness. You better check this one out…do I need to say more? O yeah Phonte’s Charity Starts At Home LP hit shelves Sept 27th.
