They say good things come to those who wait…

This leaked back in December. That was 2010. I don’t even remember how people acted back then. What have you been doing Here’s the official video for “Monster.” I can’t even complain (I guess I already did). Here’s even more evidence that Kanye brings an artistic vision into hip-hop unlike anyone else.

This track is making me pumped. I do like my fair share of danceable pop music, but it’s usually way too sweet for me. I like my pop music with a little yelling in it – something that can reel you in with an trendy beat and then pull out some nun-chucks and knock you up a little bit.

“Shut Up” is an explosive combination of “Funky Town”, The Rapture, Prince and The Pixies. Or something like that. Just check it out. You can find the song on Jhameel‘s new Dance EP, which you can listen to here and download for free on his website. I just finished listening and can truely say that this is a gem. It has a song for everyone – very versatile.

Here’s the official visual for Bad Meet Evil’s – duo Eminem and Royce 5’9 dropped “Fast Lane” not to long ago. Not only did they slaughter this track but shout out to whoever directed this rad video! Hit the jump to check it out. *Hell: The Sequel* drops June 14th.

Party – Beyonce ft Andre 3000
Here’s a great track! Don’t normally post RnB but this track is right. Straight out of Kanye West’s vault we have an old school feel good track with the hermit Andre 3000. He rarely peeks his head out of his little hole to spit on a track and this is one of those rare occasions. The Queen B(eyoncé) calls up 3 Stacks for a cut called “Party” off of her upcoming *4* album. The LP is scheduled to drop on June 28th.

It’s been a while since we’ve heard new music from Beirut, but Zachary Condon is back just in time for the season with a new single and some not-so-summery cover art. The cover may be inappropriate for a summer release, but the song is perfect for sangria sipping on roofs, balconies, lawns, fields, parking lots, or wherever you do summer. Ukulele, horns, piano! Beirut back!

Here’s the “new” single, “Far Nearer”, and b-side from The xx member Jamie xx. Sonically, both songs recall Burial, but a little less dark and ghostly – “Far Nearer”, a track that leaked a while back, even throws in some island sounds. At well over five minutes a piece with sparse vocals, you’ll need an attention span greater than my own to stomach them, but he’s definitely onto something. Check them out below.

There’s no question Theophilus London is rubbing his Venice vacation in our faces, but at least he had the common courtesy to slip a new song in as background noise.

“Lighthouse” will be featured on London’s new album, Timez Are Weird These Days, which drops July 19th (pre-order). The cover artwork and track list were released today. You can study those, and view in disgust the aforementioned video that I hate, after the jump.

Sorry no track for my player:( Looks like a promotional video.

Here’s a fresh track from Blood Orange, the most recent moniker of british composer/songwriter/producer Devonté “Dev” Hynes. Previous aliases include Test Icicles (personal fave) and most notably, Lightspeed Champion. ”Sutphin Boulevard” is the second song we’ve heard from the Blood Orange project but the first single off its forthcoming studio album, Coastal Grooves.

You’re going to get a Theophilus London feel from this one and that’s likely because these two collaborated recently on London’s “Flying Overseas”, which featured Solange Knowles and was officially released on the Lovers Holiday EP.

Coastal Grooves is slated for distribution via Domino Records on August 8th in the UK, and a few weeks later on August 30th in the States.

I’m feeling pretty good about this one, it’s a total warm weather cruiser.

Here is a pair of new tracks from Samuel, the NY-based pop artist who had one of the catchiest songs of 2010 with I Heart NY These two are in the same vein, combining addicting melodies with knocking beats.

With production duo The Knocks and executive producer Greg Wells behind him, the whole album is dynamically original and heartfelt. ‘Trains to Wanderland,’ the appropriately titled LP, will be released over the coming summer months starting with ‘Safety Off’.

You might be familiar with Azeem‘s voice from the hooks on Carlos St. John songs. I’ve always been a fan, but solo work is a whole different game. It’s like, hot sauce is great, but if you’ve ever tried to enjoy it as a soup, you know that, for whatever strange reason, the taste doesn’t translate. Then there are other things, like cheese, that are excellent when added to just about anything, but just as good on their own. In this sense, Azeem is like cheese.

Azeem has one of those unique voices that you’ll hear once and then be able to instantly recognize from that point on. I could easily imagine hearing him in a top 40 pop song, a soulful R&B jam, or a full blown rock track. He’s got an effortless, emotive delivery that’s still a little raw in a charming way. It’s going to be interesting to see what he decides to do with that voice of his.
