Rza you crazy. This production is off the hook! The mastermind has been working with this French band, and the production is nice. You hear that bass that kicks in at 2:08? Nuts. Check this one out.

This weeks song is entitled “Visions”. Its by a group called Outlines, featuring me. The song is about world peace thru us taking individual responsibility for our actions and us helping save to others once we have saved ourselves.

Being out here in China and seeing the growth of our culture in their world and seeing how their culture influenced my world led me to choose this song. We all so much on the same path as individuals only separated by language and custom and location. And the negative forces that strive to keep us apart by fabricating false images of each other. Well the RZA and Outlines have a vision for a better world.

The Outlines are a group out France whom I’m co producing. You will be hearing more from them. Peace!

Here’s the full length version of Kanye West‘s 35 minute short film “Runaway”. I’m still processing it, but I will say this – if nothing else, Kanye West is creating what he likes. He’s got a vision and he’s striving to express that to the world. I respect that. Hip-hop could use more artists. Preorder Kanye’s album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy here, where you can also view the tracklist. Kanye said tonight during his chat with Sway at MTV that because of the tracklist people THINK they’ve heard these songs. They have not heard these songs. Apparently a lot of the GOOD Friday leaks are not the album versions of the tracks.

Seems like you can’t really go wrong with a Tracy Chapman sample, right? I haven’t heard enough from Philly based trio Ground Up to judge whether or not these guys can consistently create good music or if this one is just a stand-out that capitalizes off the strength of the sample/beat. Either way, this one’s a keeper.

Gotye is that Australian in the hat pictured above. “Eyes Wide Open” is his new single from his unnamed upcoming album. If you’re a fan of Miike Snow, you’ll like this stuff. It’s catchy without sounding cheap and the melody bounces around enough to keep things from getting predictable. Cheerios to Australia;)

Another dope cut from Cee-Lo. This joint is titled “Brigh Lights Bigger City”. *Lady Killer* drops Nov 9th, and it’s shaping up to be something epic!

So here’s the ONE song I didn’t hear/get leaked off Kanye West short film Runaway and let me tell you it was a nice surprise.(Now I know why Mr. West flips out when his tracks get leaked)

The song starts to play at the beginning of the short film. Where a phoenix lands in a fiery ball in the midst of a luxury car commercial you see Kanye West driving what looks to be Lamborghini / Diablo styled luxury sports car. Even though he’s be rapping about Murcielagos, he’s actually driving a Tatra – a Czech sports cars? I guess he’s like things that go out of style – hence him rapping about Celine Dion and his ride in this song.

While a lot of people are confused and upset over his new album track listing. (Duplicate song titles which FOR SURE will be new songs, jeez, gosh!) I know that whatever Kanye West will produce and drop shortly will to be nothing shorting of a piece of art.

This is produced by RZA, Kanye West & No ID. ENJOY! LIKE I DID:)

Finally, some screen shots with Daft Punk starring in Tron. I’m so excited for this movie and for one reason – new Daft Punk songs. By the sounds of it so far I’ve been quite unimpressed. Most of the track I’ve heard / the leaks are all background sounding tracks that sound like they belong in a movie like the Matrix. Nothing special, nothing Daft Punk. The only song that brought a smile to my face was the Tron Theme Legacy track, it’s a very dark track – something you’d expect from our beloved french duo.

Anyways this trailer/video features an extended listen to “Derezzed,” something you’ve might of heard earlier if you’re a fanatic like me trying to soak up whatever new Daft Punk arises. I’m digging Daft Punk new Tron suits.

Gobble Gobble is a Canadian DIY band with an ex-hardcore singer. That’s what I read over at The Music Ninja and it was enough to get me interested. What I got was not at all what I expected. This is pysch-pop for the ADD sprinkled with glitches, an overwhelming barrage of strikes coming in at 100 per second. It’s hard to process, but immediately lovable.

I think I’m way late on this one and not even a huge fan. Why haven’t I heard this before? Busy, too many things on my plate,or bored? I guess the latter being that I’m posting a so so song on notenoted…. a good music blog and beefing up my SEO practices all at the same time. And ya I just posted a link on our website to our website and if I want to post a link on our great music blog I will! Sorry can’t always please the humans, sometimes we must please the robots.

Sir Mickey Jag and Pharrell? It sounds like a potential disaster (like when I tried to make a milkshake with Gushers and ice cream), but Pharrell and co. add some nice touches to the Rolling Stones classic. The Neptunes’ remix of “Sympathy For The Devil” reader Ryan K. put Zed’s Dead‘s dubstep remix of “Gimme Shelter” in the comments section. Good call. About 55 seconds in, a deep, sinister synth kicks in and from there on things get serious. If you’ve got any trouble planned for Halloween night, this would be a good soundtrack.
